Colorado High School Basketball - Creede nips Sangre de Cristo

In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Creede Miners basketball team scored a close 36-31 win over the Sangre de Cristo Thunderbirds.

The Miners (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Bayfield (Bayfield, CO). The Wolverines come into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Bayfield was tipped by Dolores (Dolores, CO), 54-49, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Thunderbirds confront the Sargent Farmers (Monte Vista, CO) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 9. Sangre de Cristo will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Farmers go into the contest with a 2-0 record after their 51-34 non-league win over Montezuma-Cortez (Cortez, CO).
