The Monsignor Scanlan Crusaders basketball team scored 97 points and limited the visiting Xaverian Clippers to 57 in the Crusaders non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Crusaders now possess a 5-0 record. They play next when they travel to St. Francis Prep for a NYC CHSAA Division 1 game on Tuesday, December 9. Monsignor Scanlan will confront a Terriers team coming off a 63-30 league loss to St. Joseph-by-the-Sea (Staten Island, NY). The Terriers record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Xaverian moves to 0-1 on the season. The Clippers travel to Nazareth (Brooklyn, NY) to clash with the Kingsmen in a NYC CHSAA Division 1 outing on Monday, December 15. The Kingsmen come into the outing with a record of 0-3.
