The Point Arena Pirates basketball team (Point Arena, CA), dropped 60-43 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host Round Valley Mustangs (Covelo, CA)
The Mustangs (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Anderson Valley (Boonville, CA). The Panthers come into the North Central III challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Anderson Valley was outscored by Mendocino (Mendocino, CA), 45-31, in a league battle.
The Pirates now own a 0-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Potter Valley for a North Central III battle on Tuesday, December 9. Point Arena will battle a Bearcats team coming off a 63-28 league loss to Laytonville (Laytonville, CA). The Bearcats record now stands at 0-3.
