First Quarter
In the Championship game of the SoCal Classic Tournament, the Temecula Prep Patriots were being hosted by the Santa Rosa Academy Academy Rangers. Each squad was looking for the opportunity to hoist the trophy and bring it home to place in the schools viewing case. The game seemed to be in favor of the Patriots as they jumped ahead early, led by 12 first quarter points from Bailey Litt, who happened to also be playing on her birthday. As the quarter concluded, the Patriots led 17-4.
Second Quarter
The second quarter began the same way the first quarter ended. The Rangers, helped their chances slightly by holding the Patriots offense to 14, while providing 9 for their offense. Bailey Litt also continued her offensive display of excellence by leading the Patriots in scoring with 7 of the teams 14. Four other patriots added scores themselves, with Lisa Collera scoring 3, while Makayla Martin, Kalea Mejia, and Samiyah Antoine adding 2 points each.
Third Quarter
At the start of the third quarter, the Patriots led the Rangers 31-13. Leading all scorers was Bailey Litt for the 3rd straight quarter, scoring an additional 7 points in the quarter, making her game total to this point, 26 points. Samiyah Antoine added 6 more points bring her total to 11. The Patriots led 46 to 23.
Fourth Quarter
The fourth quarter began on par with how the entire tournament unfolded, which was starters began the quarter, and the up-and-coming talent finished strong. Freshman, Katherine Alvarado led the 4th quarter scorers by hitting back-to-back three point shots, giving her 6 points for the period. The 3-pointers were not only her first 3 point makes of her career, but her first points period. The entire team erupted in celebration and congratulatory for the young freshman. The final score saw the Patriots earning the win and the Championship Title of the SoCal Classic Ladies Champion with the score of 59-33.
