The Shining Light Academy Knights basketball team scored 32 points and limited the host Southside Christian Warriors to 25 in the Knights non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Knights now have a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Calvary Christian for a NCCSA A East Region 3 outing on Tuesday, December 9. Shining Light Academy will clash with a Cougar squad coming off a 46-9 non-league win over Faith Christian (Ramseur, NC). The Cougar record now stands at 4-0.

The Warriors (0-7) will now prepare for their outing against Wilson Christian Academy (Wilson, NC). The Chargers enter the NCCSA AA East Region 3 outing with a 6-4 record. In their last outing, Wilson Christian Academy was nipped by Alamance Christian (Graham, NC), 18-14, in a non-league outing.
