Cranbrook Kingswood Cranes (Bloomfield Hills, MI) followers were pleased Saturday as they saw their ice hockey team hold off the host De La Salle Collegiate Pilots (Warren, MI), 5-4 in a league contest.

The Cranes (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Trenton (Trenton, MI). The Trojans go into the non-league contest with a 7-0 record. In their last contest, Trenton edged Grandville (Grandville, MI), 4-1, in a non-league game.

The Pilots now sport a 4-4 record. They play next when they host University Liggett for a non-league game on Wednesday, December 10. De La Salle Collegiate will clash with a Knights squad coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Lumen Christi Catholic (Jackson, MI). The Knights record now stands at 3-4.
