The Whitney Wildcats toppled the visiting Del Oro Golden Eagles basketball team by a tally of 84-67 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Wildcats now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Sheldon for a non-league bout on Thursday, December 11. Whitney will play a Huskies team coming off a 65-58 non-league win over Franklin (Elk Grove, CA). The Huskies record now stands at 5-2.

With the loss, Del Oro falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Golden eagles travel to Placer (Auburn, CA) to play the Hillmen in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 9. The Hillmen go into the bout with a record of 2-4. Placer lost 72-70 in their recent non-league test against Granite Bay (Granite Bay, CA)
