In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Etiwanda Eagles basketball team scored a close 60-53 triumph over the Rancho Cucamonga Cougars.
The Eagles (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against Centennial (Corona, CA). The Huskies go into the non-league contest with a 4-0 record. In their last contest, Centennial nipped Etiwanda (Etiwanda, CA), 69-55, in a non-league contest.
Next up, the Cougars face the Murrieta Mesa Rams (Murrieta, CA) in a non-league match, on Friday, December 19. Rancho Cucamonga will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record.
