The Woodside Wolverines basketball team scored 77 points and held the visiting Heritage Hurricanes to 35 in the Wolverines league triumph on Tuesday.

The Wolverines now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gloucester for a Peninsula contest on Friday, December 10. Woodside will battle a Dukes team coming off a 84-17 league loss to Kecoughtan (Hampton, VA). The Dukes record now stands at 0-3.

The Hurricanes (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Phoebus (Hampton, VA). The Phantoms enter the Peninsula contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Phoebus was routed by Bethel (Hampton, VA), 58-40, in a league contest.
