Independence Bulldogs (Independence, KS) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Mulvane Wildcats (Mulvane, KS), 46-44 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Independence upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Bulldogs host Collegiate (Wichita, KS) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 9. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Collegiate won 59-49 in their recent non-league bout against Labette County (Altamont, KS)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Parsons Vikings (Parsons, KS) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 9. Mulvane will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 79-52 non-league loss to Circle (Towanda, KS).
