    • North Carolina High School Basketball - North Forsyth knocked off by Lexington

    December 7, 2021: Lexington, NC 27292

    The Lexington Yellowjackets basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting North Forsyth Vikings to 45 in the Yellowjackets non-league triumph on Tuesday.

    The Yellowjackets now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Davidson for a 1A/2A Conference 33 contest on Friday, December 10. Lexington will meet a Golden Eagles team coming off a 75-42 non-league loss to Providence Grove (Franklinville, NC). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 0-6.

    The Vikings (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Reagan (Pfafftown, NC). The Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Reagan ran past Carver (Winston-Salem, NC), 58-13, in a non-league contest.
