The American Christian Academy Patriots basketball team (Tuscaloosa, AL), was nudged 35-33 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Sipsey Valley Bears (Buhl, AL)
The Bears now sport a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hale County for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 9. Sipsey Valley will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 59-40 non-league loss to Hueytown (Hueytown, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-7.
The Patriots (4-4) will now prepare for their battle against Northside (Northport, AL). The Rams come into the 4A Area 7 battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, Northside edged Fayette County (Fayette, AL), 36-35, in a non-league battle.
