With the victory, East Rowan improves its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Central Academy (Monroe, NC) to confront the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 8. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 0-5. Central Academy lost 25-22 in their recent non-league challenge against Union Academy (Monroe, NC)

Next up, the Spiders confront the Central Cabarrus Vikings (Concord, NC) in a 3A Conference 48 challenge, on Friday, December 10. Concord will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 55-25 non-league win over A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC).
