Florida High School Basketball - Paxton thwarts Jay

December 7, 2021: Paxton, FL 32538

The Paxton Bobcats (Paxton, FL) basketball knocked off the visiting Jay Royals (Jay, FL), 55-35 in Tuesday's league test.

The Bobcats (6-2) will now prepare for their test against Graceville (Graceville, FL). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 4-3 record. In their last test, Graceville notched a victory over Freeport (Freeport, FL), 57-52, in a league test.

The Royals now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Escambia for a non-league test on Thursday, December 9. Jay will encounter a Gators squad coming off a 47-31 non-league win over Calvary Christian Academy (Fort Walton Beach, FL). The Gators record now stands at 3-4.
