Marmaton Valley Wildcats (Moran, KS) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Northeast Vikings (Arma, KS), 40-24 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Marmaton Valley upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Madison (Madison, KS) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 9. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 1-0. Madison won 34-19 in their recent non-league bout against Yates Center (Yates Center, KS)
Next up, the Vikings play the Oswego Indians (Oswego, KS) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 9. Northeast will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Indians come into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 44-11 non-league loss to Madison/Hamilton (Madison, KS).
