Prince George Royals (Prince George, VA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Meadowbrook Monarchs (Richmond, VA), 53-43 in a league bout.

With the win, Prince George upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Royals host Dinwiddie (Dinwiddie, VA) to clash with the Generals in a Central bout on Thursday, December 9. The Generals go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Dinwiddie lost 67-28 in their recent league bout against Dale (Chester, VA)

Next up, the Monarchs clash with the Matoaca Warriors (Chesterfield, VA) in a Central bout, on Wednesday, December 8. Meadowbrook will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 61-36 league win over Hopewell (Hopewell, VA).
