In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Amelia County Raiders basketball team scored a tight 52-49 triumph over the Charles City Panthers.
In their next game, the Raiders meet the Randolph-Henry Statesmen (Charlotte Court House, VA) in a James River match, on Tuesday, December 13. Amelia County will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record.
