The Fort Plain Hilltoppers basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Canajoharie Cougars to 44 in the Hilltoppers league triumph on Wednesday.

The Hilltoppers now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Middleburgh for a Section 2 Western - Mohawk contest on Friday, December 9. Fort Plain will meet a Knights team coming off a 73-21 league loss to Fonda-Fultonville (Fonda, NY). The Knights record now stands at 2-2.

The Cougars (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Little Falls (Little Falls, NY). The Mounties enter the non-league contest with a 4-0 record. In their last contest, Little Falls ran past Frankfort-Schuyler (Frankfort, NY), 84-31, in a non-league contest.
