The Salem Greyhounds (Salem, AR) basketball felled the visiting Cave City Cavemen (Cave City, AR), 53-33 in Wednesday's league test.
The Greyhounds (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Hoxie (Hoxie, AR). The Mustangs go into the 3A Region 2 test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, Hoxie was beaten by Newport (Newport, AR), 67-50, in a league test.
The Cavemen now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they host Tuckerman for a 3A Region 2 test on Tuesday, December 13. Cave City will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 53-44 league win over Hoxie (Hoxie, AR). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-3.
