New York High School Basketball - Salem can't hold off Fort Edward

The Fort Edward Flying Forts basketball team scored 42 points and held the host Salem Generals to 39 in the Flying Forts league triumph on Wednesday.

The Flying Forts now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hartford Central for a Section 2 Adirondack contest on Friday, December 9. Fort Edward will battle a Tanagers team coming off a 56-43 league win over Fort Ann (Fort Ann, NY). The Tanagers record now stands at 1-1.

The Generals (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Argyle (Argyle, NY). The Scots enter the Section 2 Adirondack contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Argyle was nudged by Granville (Granville, NY), 82-45, in a league contest.
