The Magna Vista Warriors basketball team (Ridgeway, VA), was overwhelmed 76-48 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Franklin County Eagles (Rocky Mount, VA)
The Eagles now possess a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Patrick Henry for a non-league battle on Friday, December 9. Franklin County will confront a Patriots team coming off a 57-55 non-league loss to Fleming (Roanoke, VA). The Patriots record now stands at 2-1.
The Warriors (1-3) will now prepare for their battle against Bassett (Bassett, VA). The Bengals come into the Piedmont battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, Bassett was overwhelmed by Floyd County (Floyd, VA), 59-50, in a non-league battle.
