The Franklinton Demons basketball team (Franklinton, LA), was nudged 39-38 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Northlake Christian Wolverines (Covington, LA)

The Wolverines now possess a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Christ Episcopal School for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 8. Northlake Christian will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 57-46 non-league loss to Central Private (Baker, LA). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-4.

The Demons (3-3) will now prepare for their battle against Family Christian (Baton Rouge, LA). The Flames come into the non-league battle with a 4-5 record. In their last battle, Family Christian was nudged by East St. John (Reserve, LA), 62-58, in a non-league battle.
