The Lonoke Jackrabbits basketball team scored 45 points and restricted the host Heber Springs Panthers to 44 in the Jackrabbits league victory on Wednesday.
The Jackrabbits now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host England for a non-league contest on Sunday, December 11. Lonoke will battle a Lions team coming off a 56-33 non-league win over Jacksonville Lighthouse (Jacksonville, AR). The Lions record now stands at 2-1.
The Panthers (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Robinson (Little Rock, AR). The Senators come into the 4A Region 5 contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Robinson was nudged by Clinton (Clinton, AR), 72-69, in a league contest.
