North Carolina High School Basketball - Hobgood Charter tipped by Mattamuskeet

The Mattamuskeet Lakers basketball team scored 45 points and held the visiting Hobgood Charter Raiders to 44 in the Lakers non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Lakers now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pungo Christian Academy for a non-league contest on Friday, December 9. Mattamuskeet will meet a Raiders team coming off a 69-29 non-league win over Kerr-Vance Academy (Henderson, NC). The Raiders record now stands at 6-2.

The Raiders (0-6) will now prepare for their contest against Northeast Academy (Lasker, NC). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 0-8 record. In their last contest, Northeast Academy was nudged by Albemarle School (Elizabeth City, NC), 45-44, in a league contest.
