The Mark Morris Monarchs basketball team scored 69 points and restricted the visiting Hudson's Bay Eagles to 24 in the Monarchs league victory on Wednesday.

The Monarchs now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ridgefield for a 2A Greater St. Helens contest on Friday, December 9. Mark Morris will battle a Spudders team coming off a 69-43 league win over Fort Vancouver (Vancouver, WA). The Spudders record now stands at 1-1.

The Eagles (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Hockinson (Brush Prairie, WA). The Hawks come into the 2A Greater St. Helens contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Hockinson was routed by R.A. Long (Longview, WA), 81-36, in a league contest.
