Kentucky High School Basketball - Mountain Mission knocked off by Shelby Valley

The Shelby Valley Wildcats basketball team scored 78 points and held the visiting Mountain Mission Challengers to 65 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Wildcats now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Belfry for a non-league contest on Monday, December 12. Shelby Valley will battle a Pirates team coming off a 50-49 non-league loss to Paintsville (Paintsville, KY). The Pirates record now stands at 1-2.
The Challengers (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Faith Christian (Roanoke, VA). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Faith Christian was defeated by Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy (Moneta, VA), 57-44, in a non-league contest.
