In Wednesday's league outing, the Pharos Academy Gulls (Bronx, NY) basketball squad beat the visiting Springfield Commonwealth Academy Tornadoes (Springfield, MA), by a count of 80-70.
The Gulls (4-1) will now prepare for their outing against Sankofa Freedom Academy (Philadelphia, PA). The Warriors go into the non-league outing with a 2-2 record. In their last outing, Sankofa Freedom Academy defeated John Bartram (Philadelphia, PA), 59-28, in a league outing.
The Tornadoes now hold a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Pharos Academy for a Power 5 outing on Saturday, February 11.
