Illinois High School Basketball - Benet Academy crushes Marian Catholic

Benet Academy Redwings (Lisle, IL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Marian Catholic Spartans (Chicago Heights, IL), 66-40 in a league bout.
With the win, Benet Academy upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Redwings host Marist (Chicago, IL) to clash with the RedHawks in a East Suburban Catholic bout on Wednesday, December 14. The RedHawks go into the bout with a record of 6-4.
Next up, the Spartans clash with the Rich Township Raptors (Olympia Fields, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 10. Marian Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Raptors go into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 75-17 league loss to Thornwood (South Holland, IL).
