Idaho High School Basketball - Malad nudges Butte County

December 7, 2022: Malad, ID 83252

Malad Dragons (Malad, ID) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Butte County Pirates (Arco, ID), 42-35 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Malad upgrades its record to 3-3 on the season. The Dragons host Bear Lake (Montpelier, ID) to clash with the Bears in a 2A South East Idaho bout on Saturday, December 10. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 0-4.

Next up, the Pirates clash with the North Fremont Huskies (Ashton, ID) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 8. Butte County will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Huskies go into the bout with a 4-1 record after their 32-31 non-league win over Teton (Driggs, ID).
