Cabot Panthers (Cabot, AR) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Mills University Studies Comets (Little Rock, AR), 64-18 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Cabot upgrades its record to 8-0 on the campaign. The Panthers host Searcy (Searcy, AR) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Friday, December 16. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 5-2. Searcy won 50-43 in their recent non-league bout against Marked Tree (Marked Tree, AR)

Next up, the Comets play the West Memphis Blue Devils (West Memphis, AR) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 10. Mills University Studies will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record.
