In Wednesday's league outing, the Quitman Bulldogs (Quitman, AR) basketball squad edged the visiting Cedar Ridge Timberwolves (Newark, AR), by a count of 57-51.
The Bulldogs (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against South Side (Bee Branch, AR). The Hornet go into the 2A Region 2 outing with a 8-3 record.
The Timberwolves now hold a 2-3 record. They play next when they host Sloan-Hendrix for a 2A Region 2 outing on Saturday, December 10. Cedar Ridge will clash with a Greyhounds squad coming off a 65-56 league loss to South Side (Bee Branch, AR). The Greyhounds record now stands at 2-7.
