The Mason County Eastern Cardinals basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Crossroads Charter Academy Cougars to 23 in the Cardinals league triumph on Wednesday.

The Cardinals now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mesick for a West Michigan D contest on Wednesday, December 14. Mason County Eastern will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 27-16 league loss to Catholic Central (Manistee, MI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-3.

The Cougars (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Baldwin (Baldwin, MI). The Panthers enter the Freelance contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Baldwin was routed by Marion (Marion, MI), 65-6, in a league contest.
