Unatego Spartans (Otego, NY) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Delaware Academy Bulldogs (Delhi, NY), 31-24 in a league bout.

With the win, Unatego upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Spartans travel to Walton (Walton, NY) to play the Warriors in a Section 4 Midstate bout on Wednesday, December 21. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 4-1.

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Schoharie Indians (Schoharie, NY) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 9. Delaware Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 56-22 league loss to Berne-Knox-Westerlo (Berne, NY).
