The Elcho Hornets basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Goodman-Pembine Falcons to 37 in the Hornets league triumph on Wednesday.

The Hornets now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wabeno/Laona for a Northern Lakes contest on Thursday, December 8. Elcho will battle a Rebels team coming off a 48-46 league loss to Crandon (Crandon, WI). The Rebels record now stands at 6-1.

The Falcons (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Florence (Florence, WI). The Bobcats enter the Northern Lakes contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Florence ran past Tomahawk (Tomahawk, WI), 66-36, in a non-league contest.
