South Carolina High School Basketball - Pelion overwhelmed by Gilbert

The Gilbert Indians basketball team scored 71 points and restricted the host Pelion Panthers to 36 in the Indians non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Indians now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Batesburg-Leesville for a non-league contest on Friday, December 9. Gilbert will battle a Panthers team coming off a 57-29 non-league win over Ridge Spring-Monetta (Monetta, SC). The Panthers record now stands at 2-1.

The Panthers (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Swansea (Swansea, SC). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Swansea triumphed over North (North, SC), 48-29, in a non-league contest.
