Louisiana High School Basketball - South Beauregard succumbs to Lafayette

The Lafayette Lions topped the visiting South Beauregard Knights basketball team by a final score of 54-38 in Wednesday's non-league game.
The Lions now possess a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lafayette Christian Academy for a non-league battle on Monday, December 12. Lafayette will confront a Knights team coming off a 54-47 non-league win over St. Amant (St. Amant, LA). The Knights record now stands at 8-1.
The Knights (4-3) will now prepare for their battle against Merryville (Merryville, LA). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, Merryville beat Grand Lake (Lake Charles, LA), 40-34, in a non-league battle.
