Second Baptist Eagles (Houston, TX) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Lutheran South Academy Pioneers (Houston, TX), 61-33 in a league bout.

With the win, Second Baptist upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Eagles travel to Dallas Christian (Mesquite, TX) to clash with the Chargers in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 10. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 7-6. Dallas Christian won 58-7 in their recent non-league bout against Spruce (Dallas, TX)

Next up, the Pioneers clash with the Frassati Catholic Falcons (Spring, TX) in a TAPPS 5A District 5 bout, on Friday, December 9. Lutheran South Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 4-8 record after their 30-18 league win over The Woodlands Christian Academy (The Woodlands, TX).
