The Oneonta Yellowjackets basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Whitney Point Eagles to 25 in the Yellowjackets non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Yellowjackets now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chenango Valley for a Section 4 Southern Tier - East contest on Wednesday, December 14. Oneonta will meet a Warriors team coming off a 53-40 non-league win over Athens (Athens, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 1-1.

The Eagles (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Dryden (Dryden, NY). The Lions enter the Section 4 Interscholastic - North Large contest with a 0-1 record.
