River Ridge/Scales Mound Wildcats (Hanover, IL) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Pecatonica Indians (Pecatonica, IL), 52-23 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, River Ridge/Scales Mound upgrades its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Durand (Durand, IL) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Friday, December 9. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 0-4. Durand lost 60-3 in their recent league bout against Lena-Winslow (Lena, IL)

Next up, the Indians play the Pearl City Wolves (Pearl City, IL) in a Northwest Upstate Illini - North bout, on Thursday, December 8. Pecatonica will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Wolves come into the bout with a 2-7 record after their 41-36 league loss to Aquin Catholic (Freeport, IL).
