The South Side Hornet topped the host Sloan-Hendrix Greyhounds basketball team by a final score of 65-56 in Wednesday's league game.
In their next game, the Hornet face the Concord Pirates (Concord, AR) in a non-league game, on Thursday, December 8. South Side will attempt to move on its 8-3 season record.
With the defeat, Sloan-Hendrix moves to 2-7 on the year. The Greyhounds travel to Cedar Ridge (Newark, AR) to face the Timberwolves in a 2A Region 2 game on Saturday, December 10. The Timberwolves enter the game with a record of 2-3. Cedar Ridge lost 57-51 in their recent league game against Quitman (Quitman, AR)
