West Virginia High School Basketball - Covington overwhelmed by Pocahontas County

The Pocahontas County Warriors basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the visiting Covington Cougars to 16 in the Warriors non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Warriors now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Midland Trail for a non-league contest on Friday, December 9.

The Cougars (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Alleghany (Covington, VA). The Mountaineers come into the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
