Florida High School Soccer - Somerset Academy South Homestead knocks off Marathon

Somerset Academy South Homestead Hurricanes (Homestead, FL) supporters were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Marathon Dolphins (Marathon, FL), 7-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Hurricanes confront the Everglades Prep Academy Panther (Homestead, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 9. Somerset Academy South Homestead will attempt to move on its 4-1 season record. The Panther enter the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Mater Academy Charter (Hialeah Gardens, FL).

The Dolphins now possess a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Westwood Christian for a non-league challenge on Friday, December 9. Marathon will confront a Warriors team coming off a 9-0 non-league win over Cushman (Miami, FL). The Warriors record now stands at 2-1.
