Randleman Tigers (Randleman, NC) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Asheboro Blue Comets (Asheboro, NC), 43-42 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Randleman upgrades its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Tigers host Wheatmore (Trinity, NC) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Friday, December 9. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 3-2. Wheatmore won 45-36 in their recent non-league bout against West Davidson (Lexington, NC)

Next up, the Blue Comets play the Uwharrie Charter Eagles (Asheboro, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Asheboro will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record.
