North Carolina High School Basketball - Ashley trounced by Laney

In Wednesday's non-league test, the host Laney Buccaneers basketball squad scored a big 47-24 win over the Ashley Screaming Eagle.
The Buccaneers (6-1) will now prepare for their test against Pender (Burgaw, NC). The Patriots go into the non-league test with a 3-1 record. In their last test, Pender walloped Lakewood (Roseboro, NC), 44-24, in a non-league test.
The Screaming Eagle now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they host New Hanover for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 13. Ashley will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 53-35 non-league win over North Brunswick (Leland, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-0.
