Peninsula Seahawks (Gig Harbor, WA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Central Kitsap Cougars (Silverdale, WA), 56-44 in a league bout.

With the win, Peninsula upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Seahawks travel to Capital (Olympia, WA) to clash with the Cougars in a bout on Friday, December 9. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Capital won 18-17 in their recent league bout against North Thurston (Lacey, WA)

Next up, the Cougars clash with the North Thurston Rams (Lacey, WA) in a bout, on Friday, December 9. Central Kitsap will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 18-17 league loss to Capital (Olympia, WA).
