In Wednesday's league outing, the Quartz Hill Royals (Quartz Hill, CA) basketball squad edged the visiting Eastside Lions (Lancaster, CA), by a count of 44-41.
The Royals (2-1) will now prepare for their bout against Antelope Valley (Lancaster, CA). The Antelopes come into the bout with a 4-4 record. In their last bout, Antelope Valley was edged by Highland (Palmdale, CA), 65-41, in a league bout.
Next up, the Lions play the Palmdale Falcons (Palmdale, CA) in a bout, on Friday, December 9. Eastside will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Falcons come into the bout with a 1-4 record after their 49-41 league win over Littlerock (Littlerock, CA).
