Osakis Silverstreaks (Osakis, MN) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa Jaguars (Belgrade, MN), 69-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Osakis upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Silverstreaks travel to Long Prairie-Grey Eagle (Long Prairie, MN) to clash with the Thunder in a non-league bout on Friday, December 8. The Thunder go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Long Prairie-Grey Eagle lost 65-30 in their recent non-league bout against Royalton (Royalton, MN)

Next up, the Jaguars clash with the New London-Spicer Wildcats (New London, MN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 65-62 league loss to Paynesville (Paynesville, MN).
