Mississippi High School Basketball - Biggersville crushes Tremont

December 7, 2023: Tremont, MS 38876

Biggersville Lions (Corinth, MS) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Tremont Eagles (Tremont, MS), 69-34 in a league bout.

With the win, Biggersville upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Lions travel to South Panola (Batesville, MS) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 9. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 2-8. South Panola lost 71-39 in their recent league bout against Lake Cormorant (Lake Cormorant, MS)

Next up, the Eagles play the Hatley Tigers (Amory, MS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 8. Tremont will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 6-2 record after their 45-32 league loss to Hamilton (Hamilton, MS).
