Ludlow Panthers (Ludlow, KY) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Calvary Christian Cougars (Covington, KY), 65-53 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Ludlow upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Panthers host Bellevue (Bellevue, KY) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Monday, December 11. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Bellevue won 67-34 in their recent non-league bout against Villa Madonna (Covington, KY)

Next up, the Cougars play the Nicholas County Bluejackets (Carlisle, KY) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 8. Calvary Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Bluejackets go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 72-57 non-league loss to Augusta (Augusta, KY).
