Texas High School Basketball - Carthage knocked off by Canton

The Canton Eagles basketball team scored 43 points and held the host Carthage Bulldogs to 35 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Eagles now sport a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westwood for a non-league contest on Friday, December 8. Canton will meet a Panthers team coming off a 79-42 non-league win over Carthage (Carthage, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 3-1.
The Bulldogs (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Westwood (Palestine, TX). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Westwood ran past Grapeland (Grapeland, TX), 59-48, in a non-league contest.
